IQ4News reports the resignation of the treasurer of a faction of the PDP, the faction however debunks and says he was sacked.

There are discordant tunes coming from the faction of the PDP led by Baraje as its National treasurer has thrown in the towel by resigning. The former treasurer, Me Tanko Gwamna resigned his position yesterday in a statement he issued. He noted that he is unhappy with the way things are going for the party and has decided to resign for peace to reign.

Right now the dark cloud hanging over Nigeria due to the president illness seems to have passed. However, it remains to be seen how the acting president will use powers and if investors will take him seriously.
