Campaigns for the forthcoming Kenyan General Elections are in top gear. Politicians are busy marshalling support as political realignments witnessed. It is a scenario that pits new-comers against veterans in what appears to be a war of might. However, what raises eye-brows is the manner in which ethnic card has been brought to the fore. The politicians have retreated to their ethnic cocoons, and as it stands now, every community has a presidential aspirant, a major cause for polarization.
