Police Brutality

On 15th August, South Africa, a country that has known political stability since the Apartheid era, shocked the whole world as its police force brazenly shot at striking mine workers who were displeased by the poor working conditions. As a result, 34 were killed, bringing to the fore the brutal nature of the police used by African leaders to tame dissidents.
