News just in that some 200 people have gathered at the Eagle Square, Abuja, ready to protest the removal of fuel subsidy announced by the Jonathan administration today.

Security forces are reported to have been dispatched to Eagle Square in the wake of a potential protest at Eagle Square.

Tempers are rising over the annoucement of the removal of fuel subsidies which will see Nigerians pay N140 per litre of petrol, as opposed to N65.
