This Supplemental Addendum is an addendum and supplement to the IQ4News Terms and Conditions and IQ4News Privacy Policy that are posted on and applicable to www.iq4news.com

You retain all copyright to all original Content you submit to IQ4News. By transmitting or submitting Content to IQ4News, you hereby grant IQ4News, its Affiliates and sub-licensees: (a) a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual and fully sub-licensable and transferable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from and publicly display and perform such Content in any media, now known or hereafter devised; and (b) the right to use the name, identifier, or any portion thereof, submitted in connection with such Content, if they so choose.

Please note that IQ4News and its Affiliates, cannot guarantee that Your Content will be edited by us. We therefore request you submit Content that is as professionally produced as possible. Where were are unable to edit your work for whatever reason we reserve the right to take such work down should it be regarded as below standard or for any other reason IQ4News deems worthy.

For purposes of this Agreement, "Affiliate" means any person, partnership, joint venture, corporation or other form of enterprise, domestic or foreign, including but not limited to subsidiaries, that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with IQ4News.

You acknowledge and agree that you will not post on IQ4News.com any content for which you do not have the clear right to do so and to grant the rights granted above. You may submit a link to such content, provided that such link does not otherwise violate any third party agreements or rights. [Please note that content licensed under a Creative Commons license may not be posted on IQ4News.com because such licenses do not permit you to grant the necessary rights and may not be applicable to such use in some cases. Therefore, such content may only be submitted as a link] You further acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible and liable for any content that you post or link on IQ4News.com and for any infringement or other liability that may result.

You represent and warrant that (i) all Content is either wholly original to you, or all third party rights therein have been fully cleared for use as contemplated by these Agreement, and that you have the right to grant the rights granted herein without violating the rights of any third party; (ii) the Content and the posting thereof on IQ4News.com does and will not, in any way, violate or breach any of the terms of this Agreement, the IQ4News Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy or violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, and (iii) IQ4News shall not in any circumstance be required to pay or incur any sums to any person or entity as a result of its use or exploitation of the Content unless otherwise agreed by IQ4News.

Without limiting the foregoing, IQ4News and its Affiliates reserve the right to use the Content as it deems appropriate, including, without limitation, deleting, rejecting, or refusing to post it. Your submission of Content is subject to the terms our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and all other terms on IQ4News.com. IQ4News and its Affiliates may, but are under no obligation to, offer you any payment for Content that you submit or the opportunity to edit, delete or otherwise modify Content once it has been submitted to IQ4News.com. IQ4News and its Affiliates shall not be obligated to enforce any form of attribution by third parties and shall not be responsible for any third party use of Content.

If it is determined that you possess any moral rights (including rights of attribution or integrity) in the Content, you hereby declare that (a) you have no objection to the publication, use, modification, or deletion and exploitation of the Content by IQ4News or its Affiliates, licensees, successors and assigns; (b) you forever waive and agree not to claim or assert any entitlement to any and all moral rights of an author in any of the Content; and (c) you forever release IQ4News, and its Affiliates, licensees, successors and assigns, from any claims that you could otherwise assert against IQ4News by virtue of any such moral rights.

You acknowledge that IQ4News is for collaborative discovery and discussion of the news, not a platform for discrimination and bias. You shall therefore refrain from submitting content that may be deemed discriminatory or biased.

IQ4News retains the right to terminate its services, and the terms of this Supplemental Addendum at any time, in its sole discretion. IQ4News, at its sole discretion, may remove Your contributor status in the event it determines that You have violated the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, or this Supplemental Addendum or if it determines that you do not constitute a Contributor. You are an independent contractor, and nothing in this Supplemental Addendum are intended to, or should be construed to create a partnership, agency, joint venture or employment relationship.
