Toyota Kenya Ltd (TKL) announces that it will be accepting entries for the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest through January 31, 2013. The contest is open to children between 3-15 years old, from across Kenya.

The contest dubbed "Your Dream—The Car of the Future" aims to create an opportunity for children—through drawing pictures of their “dream cars” —to develop their interest in cars and further recognize the joy and importance of having a dream.

The competition is open to 3 age group categories: Age 3-10 years, Age 11 – 12 & Age 13 – 15 years. The Kenya National Contest is open and will conclude on January 31, 2013.

The winning entries will be selected and announced in February 2012 with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Finalist Prize Winners. Prizes include; Samsung Tablets, Samsung Mini Laptops and shopping vouchers from Textbook Center

The Kenya National winning entries will be submitted to the World Contest to be held in Japan in May 2013. The World Contest prize winners will be invited to attend an award ceremony to be held in August 2013 at Toyota Motor Corporation [TMC] headquarters in Japan.

Last year, two of the Kenya National winners, Naylee Nagda & Arkajyoti Ghoshal emerged winners in the Global Contest and won a one week sponsored trip to Japan for the international award ceremony.

Completed entries can be submitted to the Toyota Kenya Head Office, or any of Toyota’s authorized service centers in each region.

Entry forms, rules and regulations, and additional information are available on https://www.toyotakenya.com/dream_car_html. The Toyota Dream Car team will also be visiting selected primary schools and children’s homes to collect more entries across the country.
